Green Cross welcomes Tiokasin Ghosthorse to Sweden. He is an award winning Host and Producer of First Voices Indigenous Radio, in New York, WBAI NY - Pacifica Radio, broadcasting to 40 stations in North America.

Tiokasin Ghosthorse is from the Cheyenne River Lakota Nation of South Dakota, and the bands of Itazipco/Mnicoujou and Oglala. He guests Sweden for many events, including the Native Vision Film Festival, with his presentation entitled “Tree Root Consciousness – Paradigm of Peace with Mother Earth”, Bio Roy, Kungsportsavenyen 45 in Göteborg, Saturday, March 23rd 17.30 – 18.30, www.nativevision.se - in cooperation with Green Cross.
Tiokasin Ghosthorse has had a long history in Indigenous rights activism and advocacy, from the United Nations in Geneva to supporting indigenous organizations in his home territory in South Dakota, as in Pine Ridge, Rosebud, Lower Brule, Standing Rock and Cheyenne River Lakota Reservations.
As Tiokasin Ghosthorse says, “We must shift from living on the earth – to living with her”.
